how to handle redirects for react app page not found on netlify

//got to your root folder and instead of using _redirects file create a file called 

netlify.toml

//paste this code below in the file:

from = "/*"
to = "/index.html"
status = 200

//save and run 
npm run build

//deploy to netlify. run this command in terminal (I'm assuming you have netlify cli indtalled already)
netlify deploy // 
//you will be asked a folder to dploy. type 
build

//then run 
netlify deploy --prod
//you will be asked a folder to dploy. type 
build

**you are done. Your application will not have broken routes if refreshed**
