How to call the web api if it is in separate folder
BY LOVE
• If your api is in the default Controllers folder so you no need to pass this character /
Before the url of ajax function. You can call the api in this way simply.
$.ajax({
type: 'GET',
url: 'api/Restaurant/Test',
contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
success: function (data) {
alert("INSIDE SUCCESS");
},
error: function () {
alert("INSIDE FAILURE");
}
});
• If your api is in separate folder so you need to pass this character /
Before the url of ajax function. Note the forward symbol in the url . i.e /
$.ajax({
type: 'GET',
url: '/api/Restaurant/Test',
contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
success: function (data) {
alert("INSIDE SUCCESS");
},
error: function () {
alert("INSIDE FAILURE");
}
});
